Our Argan Oil supplier is Soil Association certified Organic. By tradition the oil has always been harvested and pressed by women due to the delicate nature of the work involved in picking and hand pressing Argan nuts. The bread winners in these areas are therefore, very often, women. But recent increases in demand have meant that production does not always benefit local communities. We are proud to announce that our Argan Oil is hand pressed, 100% natural and ethical.
Around 600 Berber women are employed for their skills in hand picking and hand pressing the oil. They are then paid a fair wage which goes back into their communities to help in progressing education for their children, better health provision and supporting a better quality of life. No trees are harmed in the production of our Argan Oil as investment also goes back into the UNESCO protected farm to preserve purity and quality. Months in the making and our aim was to produce something that was 100% natural of course! A product that was not fussy, didn’t read like the contents page of a novel and was twice as effective as the very best…
What we came up with was a light, easily absorbed, nourishing oil that works to heal, repair and leave your skin glowing with health. Our Elixir has combined, arguably, two of the beauty worlds most coveted ingredients to bring you our most versatile product yet. It can be used on Face, Body & Hair. Due to the purity and quality, it is easily absorbed, pale in colour (our oil is made from raw Argan kernels to preserve the efficacy) and leaves only the delicate, fresh, floral aroma of Orange Blossom on your skin.
Our choice of Argan & Orange Blossom oil was intended to provide a huge array of beneficial properties that both these oils impart on application. In fact, our Orange Blossom oil is very effective in relieving stress and anxiety when inhaled too! So, here are some of the reasons why you need to try out our Elixir;
• With high levels of Vitamin A & E, both of which are high in anti-oxidants, you are helping your skin heal more effectively at a cellular level while protecting your skin against free radicals & UV rays.
